HEX is excited to announce its partnership with Catherine McAuley Westmead a vibrant, diverse and multicultural school in Westmead, New South Wales, to have a group of Year 12 students complete the HEX High Accelerator program during our Term 2, 2024 cohort.

Catherine McAuley prioritises the skills required for young women to actively participate in a dynamic world as autonomous lifelong learners who are connected, adaptable, discerning and articulate. An extensive extracurricular program provides a holistic education, and enables students to experience success and achieve excellence in a wide variety of areas.

Catherine McAuley is dedicated to excellence and innovation in girls' education, empowering young women to courageously make a positive difference in their community and the world at large. 

Each week students will learn from leading Australian innovators about entrepreneurship and attend dynamic workshops with their cohort. During these workshops, the HEX team will review the key content learned in the past week from the course. These workshops are designed to be interactive, collaborative and practical.

By completing the program, students will get a head start on life after high school through:

• An official Certificate of Completion issued by one of the top universities in the world, University of Sydney. This can be used to apply for a full subject's worth of credits at universities around the world.
• Having one less subject to do in their university degree - giving students more time to spend on upskilling, working and more.
• The program is a fraction of the cost of a traditional university subject (for the same academic credit)- reducing the cost of their degrees!
• Learn directly from industry leaders at Google, Zendesk, Atlassian and supercharging their employability skills
