Over two inspiring weeks, you’ll join a cohort of ambitious students and early-stage founders to learn from world-class thought leaders and work hands-on in the Aussie start-up ecosystem.

Our programs are designed to bring ideas to life. We will give you the tools, the network and access to resources to make your change happen for your future.
To apply for the program, it's ideal to have an early-stage idea or concept in mind (It doesn't have to be polished!). We’ll have pre-departure online meetups so you can meet your cohort.
In Week 1, learn about ideation, startup mindsets, funding & finance, market research & validation, startup culture and tech tours plus an intro to branding, PR and marketing.
In week 2, learn about growth hacking, pitching 101, UI/UX, prototyping, product design, financial modelling, tech tours and finally pitch to investors, CEOs and government legends.

A part of the HEX program experience is to be in a space that allows maximum collaboration and is compact while enabling you to work. Your accommodation is situated in Melbourne's CBD and is the perfect place to experience Melbourne and its surroundings from. The accommodation provides a range of services and amenities to help make your stay more comfortable. Never be out of touch with your contacts with free WiFi offered throughout your stay.
You are gonna be diving head-first into the ever-growing ends of our innovation ecosystem. So, you will not be alone over the two weeks.

Within a fortnight of applying, you'll hear back from us informing you of our decision.
If approved, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 10% of the program fee. Payment plan also available!
You will be invited to join our Slack channel and Dashboard to start your pre-departure briefing one-month before program starts. We'll run you through the logistics of the program and introduce you to your cohort-mates.

We strongly believe in cohort living. Being in the same location facilitates friendships, coworking, and better collaboration. It also allows us to fulfill our duty of care towards you.
We have over $1 million AUD in funding from various universities who are able to sponsor or subsidise your program cost. View our list of current available funding here.
We also recommend chatting with your Study Abroad or Global Mobility office for all enquiries regarding program funding.
YES! HEX has been approved for undergraduate and postgraduate academic credit at universities around the world. It's best to confirm credit with your university, but we can help you navigate the system.
You can arrive any time on Saturday before the program as we'll officially kick-off on Sunday.
The program officially ends on Friday of the second week, so you can check-out anytime on the Saturday.
Once you're enrolled, the pre-departure guide will have all the info you'll need.
