We are thrilled to announce that the HEX High Accelerator Program has been officially approved by the Queensland Curriculum & Assessment Authority (QCAA) for students studying the QCE curriculum. 

The HEX High Accelerator Program is a 6-week, fully online innovation program where students have weekly online workshops and drop-in mentoring sessions designed for students to build a business where we cover problem and solution ideation, market and customer analysis, branding, prototyping and pitching.

What does the recognition mean?

The QCAA has recognised the HEX High Accelerator Program as eligible to contribute credit to the QCE in the Complementary category of learning. The HEX High Accelerator Program is equivalent to 1 QCE credit.

Complementary courses of study may contribute a maximum of eight credits to the QCE. Learning in the Complementary category does not contribute to the completed Core in the set pattern required for the QCE.

But that’s not all…

Not only do students receive credits towards their QCE certificate, but upon completion of the program at a passing grade or above, students will also receive a graded Academic Record from the University of Sydney. 

This Certificate confirms that the student has completed a full subject at an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 7 - Undergraduate level and is recognised by universities across Australia and internationally as an undergraduate elective subject in a variety of degrees. This saves students time and money!
